You can not visit Milan without shopping. It’s the city of fashion so no wonder it’s overflowing with shoppingmalls. We found the five best ones where you can shop till you drop.
Citylife shopping district
Citylife shopping district is so large it’s called a district. It’s very recently built so the mall looks modern and clean. Choose one of the three shoppingtowers and dive in! When you get hungry you can visit one of the many small foodstalls to grab a bite or two.
If you don’t like art but you do like colors, the Excelsior Milano mall is the one for you. Bright colored, and bonus: Lots of food and drinks available inside for the moment you get hungry.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the oldest mall in Milan. The place to be when you are a true design addict. Brands like Prada, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana have a store here, for example. Even when your wallet doesn’t allow you to spend amounts of money like that, we would still recommend visiting this mall. It’s not only one of the oldest, but also one of the most beautiful ones.
La Rinascente shopping centre
Architecture-wise, La Rinascente shopping centre is the best you can get. You don’t have to bring extreme amounts of money to shop here, but it looks luxurious nevertheless.
Il Centro Arese shopping center
If you go to Il Centro Arese you will be shopping among locals. The crowd is very diverse, just as the shops inside the shopping centre. Go here for your groceries and Milanese delicacies, you will not be disappointed. We promise.
